The National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy (SNMPE) organized the V meeting «Road to the Gold, Silver and Copper Symposium» under the title of «The challenge of the canon: proposals to optimize the use of the resources generated by the mining". With the presence of the Minister of Energy and Mines, Iván Merino, the virtual forum served to discuss this concept, which the Government has announced as a State policy.
Meeting IV: Social Profitability and Peruvian Mining
The National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy (SNMPE) organized the fourth meeting "On the Road to the Gold, Silver and Copper Symposium" under the title "Social Profitability and Peruvian Mining". With the presence of the Minister of Energy and Mines, Iván Merino, the virtual forum served to discuss this concept, which the Government has announced as a State policy.
Meeting III: Companies and Human Rights: Challenges, Advances and Opportunities in the Mining and Energy Sector
Meeting III was held on July 20 at 10:00 am, where the role of companies in human rights and the contribution of the mining and energy sector to these rights was presented.
Meeting II
Meeting II was held on May 12 at 10:00 am, during which the challenges of translating mining revenues into development and the challenges of converting mining resources (canon and royalties) in development were discussed.
Meeting I: Mining’s Contribution to the National Economy
The first meeting was held on Wednesday, March 3 at 10:00 am, with the presentation of Estudio de la Contribución Minera a la economía Nacional study carried out by IPE, with the participation of Diego Macera and a research and academic panel.
